400 micro Siemens is the electrical conductivity. I can translate that to tsp/Gallon later today.

By 400 uS I'm assuming that's grains or is that gallons?

Most of us lowly planted aquarium guys go by ppm so I'm just trying to get a handle on the ratio your using.

The nursery is in Denmark. Be careful with regular deli tubs - they might not be able to withstand high temperatures that are needed to sterilize media properly. You can find similar containers that are made of materials that CAN withstand those temps. Group buy?

Great photos--where is that nursery? I'm inspired by the photo of the plastic "deli" tubs--easy to acquire and lots of room for larger subcultures. Also--what tips do you have for separating out the explants?

Wow, what a cool plant, and a nice explanation of your propagation technique. I hope that I can get a hold of an L. thwaitesii someday. I wonder what the leaves are like(?). Does this plant have those fine, fleshy leaves like most crypts that need to remain in very high humidity all of the time.

Have you ever considered using Physan 20 to disinfect plants when propagating? Many orchid growers use it. I have never had any trouble with crypts succumbing to rot, but I have many times had Anubias become rapidly infected and perish after transplanting or propagation. I might try some Physan the next time that I work with them.
