Cryptocoryne longicauda spathe
March 29th, 2009
This is an ‘Aquarium’ strain of Cryptocoryne longicauda. Its the same plant I almost killed last year when it flowered. Due to a nutrient deficiency, the plant had collapsed as it started flowering. This time around, the plant is very robust and the spathe is huge!

This flower looks “sexy.” I can’t wait to see that specimen flower in my setup. Thanks for sharing !
Nice to read you, Jay.
Mr. Ghori, spring started so soon for you this year… Congrats…
I will open the season with ammanica, I think…
Ghanzafar,
This is really a great blog. I have been lurking for a while but stop today to say hello.
I have my own blog describing experiences with emersed aquatics. Here it is:

Stop by and leave a comment if you like. I have been working with a few crypts, mostly the really big and hardy ones, which are easier to use in my aquascapes.
I would love to know more about your picture-taking. I am a horrible photographer. Do you describe your methods anywhere?
Regards,
Hydrophyte

He surely wishes to answer a letter.
